The car accelerates from 0 to 60mph in 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 171 mph (275km/h). The performance of the Porsche Cayman S approaches that of the Porsche 911 Carrera, which led many to believe that the Porsche Cayman S was going to cannibalize the sales of the Porsche 911 Carrera.

In 2008 Porsche released the Porsche Cayman S Sport. This limited edition sport version has a freer-flowing, louder exhaust (raising power from 295 PS to 303 PS) and comes in various colors, striping on the sides and black 19-inch wheels. The body is lowered by 1cm. This beautiful version gives a more sporty feeling than the Porsche Cayman S. Only 700 were made for the world’s market! To acquire this great driving machine, you will need no less than $61,500 (including taxes).
